Our main objective is to take care of our patients’ health. The first day is when emotions, thoughts, and decisions come together, conditioning the success of the approach and shaping our subsequent relationship with the patient. We will ask what the issue is and what their expectations are. Then, we will examine the mouth, jaws, and face to establish a preliminary diagnosis. Next, we will request complementary examinations, frequently X-rays and tomographies, to make a definitive diagnosis. Afterward, sitting around the office desk, we will analyze the best solutions to help them.
What does your first visit with our specialists include?
During the first visit, we invest all the time we believe necessary to diagnose and plan our patients’ cases. This is the key to treatment success.
As part of our first-visit workflow protocol, we take a series of intraoral and/or extraoral photographs. Furthermore, if the professional deems it necessary to perform complementary tests—such as X-rays, tomographies, etc.—to complete the diagnosis, we make sure to inform patients of the cost beforehand.
Radiographic study
We perform and provide a panoramic X-ray. Should it be deemed necessary for your specific case, we will conduct additional tests, such as intraoral X-rays or teleradiography.
Photographic series
We take intraoral and extraoral images of the initial condition of the mouth.
Oral and dental examination
Depending on the case, the oral and dental examination is carried out by different specialized dentists.
Diagnosis
Following all diagnostic tests, our specialists study the specific situation of the case.
